Hot Flashes, Night Sweats & Mood Swings, Oh My! Help!!

**UPDATED...BELOW**
Even though I haven't quite reached my 42 birthday, my hormones have been getting wackier and wackier over the last couple of years. For about 8 months I've been having hot flashes. Not fun, but totally manageable for me. I just grab up whatever's near by and fan myself wildly for the minute or two it occurs, then life goes on.
Natural Relief for Hot Flashes
But...
But!!!
Then I started having night sweats!
VERY not fun.
Natural Help for Night Sweats

Being awakened several times a night feeling like you are in the pits of Hades simply does not make for a well-rested, happy person come morning!
Hello Internet!

I did some research and found natural "helps", like Black Cohosh, Sage, Vitex Berry, Dong Quai, and others. A friend offered to make me up a tincture with some various herbs in it. I started taking them several times a day and sadly saw no difference in my symptoms, even after 3 weeks.
But since I read about how various natural herbs help lots of people, I went on Amazon and found supplements that had lots of those helpful ingredients and read the reviews, narrowing it down to a few different supplements.
There were quite a lot of positive reviews for a particular one, and the price wasn't too bad ($19.97), so I decided to bite the bullet and order the one called Menopause Advantage.
All Natural Menopause Remedy

What's In It?

Ingredients:
Vitex Berry, Black Cohosh, Soy Isoflavones, Dong Quai (1% extract), Licorice (1% extract), Red Raspberry Extract, Red Clover (1% extract), Blessed Thistle, Sage Extract, Squaw Vine, Mexican Wild Yam (12.5% extract), and False Unicorn.
Other Ingredients: Gelatin, Magnesium Stearate, Stearic Acid and microcrystalline cellulose.
Black Cohosh, Sage, Licorice, Dong Quai, Vitex Berry
When I received them, I took 2 pills (they aren't small, nor really big) for lunch, and had just one slight awakening that night for MILD warmness.
Pills for Night Sweats and Hot Flashes
I had no daytime hot flashes.
Wow! Even with the mild warmness slight awakening, it was SUCH an improvement.
I thought it had to be a fluke.
I can't be THAT lucky!
Herbal Supplement that really works for hot flashes

Well, I kept taking them and have NOT had another hot flash, nor any night sweats, since beginning these supplements.
Uh-Maze-Zing!!!
Yes!
So what about the other premenopausal symptoms?
I don't know if it really helps with mood swings, because I don't have a big issue with that anyway.  Also, my cycle is still kinda wacky, with some skips and some
two-per-month-ers happening.
So it didn't fix those issues. But I can deal with that.
I know they were life-changing for me as far as hot flashes and night sweats go.

In the midst of all this, I saw my OBGYN for my annual and requested a hormone check. Tests did show that my hormones are a bit low, signaling premenopause. She said I could get on the pill if I'd like (I don't like!), and that's about it for my premenopausal options. I told her how well Menopause Advantage was working for my hot flashes and night sweats, and that I'd just deal with wacky cycles for now. Birth Control Pills have a very negative effect on me, so I prefer to avoid them.

Overall Opinion?
As soon as I got near the end of that first bottle, I went ahead and ordered my second. As far as I'm concerned, that was some of the best $19.97 I EVER spent!
Totally worth it...and I can't recommend Menopause Advantage enough.

IMPORTANT to note:
Since we are all very different, and hormone levels can fluctuate so wildly between people, I can't guarantee that this will work for everyone. Also, I'm not a doctor, so I'm not providing anyone any medical information.
Consult your physician.
What I am saying is that if you are suffering night sweats and hot flashes, you really should give this option a try, unless you are allergic to some of the herbs or something.

If you are reading this because you are suffering these awful symptoms, I sincerely hope this pill will work for you as wonderfully as it does for me.

**UPDATE: This worked for me until I got to my 4th bottle (I think, maybe 3rd?). Shortly after receiving a shipment of 2 new bottles, I began having some symptoms again when I started the new bottle. I thought maybe they'd changed the amounts of the active ingredients so that it wasn't as effective...but there's really no way to check this. I asked on Amazon if anyone else had this happen, but everyone so far has responded that it's still working for them (if it ever did). So, I must assume that my hormones shifted again. *sigh* So, after more research, I decided to try "Herbal Pause with EstroG-100" from NOW foods (also on Amazon). It has completely different active ingredients, so I thought if I'd built up some kind of tolerance to the Menopause Advantage ingredients, maybe this would still work. I'm VERY happy to report that NOW product started working immediately and within 3 days I had complete success, with NO hot flashes & NO night sweats. I'm not sure if we build up tolereances, similar to how we can with standard medications, or if my hormones just shift to a higher lever. At any rate, I'm going to use the Herbal Pause until it stops working, then I'll try the Menopause Advantage again (I still have 1.5 bottles!).
