Get Your Glow On! All Natural Dead Sea Mud Mask Review

I've been having a touch of hormonal acne
(thank you Time Of Month), so I was needing a little extra-special facial care.

I decided to try out the "Pure & Essential Minerals Dead Sea Mud Mask" this weekend. In my quest to find all natural beauty care, I had recently come across it. It is available on Amazon, currently for $24.77.

The mask's main ingredient (and first on the ingredient list) is lovely greenish-gray Dead Sea Mud. This comes from THE Dead Sea...you know...the one between Israel and Jordan?

It's mineral-rich mud is revered for having healing properties, as well as its ability to nourish, restore, stimulate, improve blood circulation, and also for giving a wonderful glow.
I need a glow.
Don't you?!?!

In addition to the
Dead Sea Mud, it has Organic Shea Butter, Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Aloe Vera Juice, Organic Vegetable Glycerin, Organic Jojoba Oil, Hickory Bark Extract, Organic Calendula Oil, Filtered Water, Xanthan Gum, and Eucalyptus Oil. As you can see, most of the ingredients are organic, too.
Also, it is a "Cruelty Free" product,
as well as being Certified Vegan.
(You can find out more about it at Puressmin.com.)

I applied a medium-thick layer of mud and left it on for 10 minutes. It never dried to that uncomfortable, hard stage, as you can see below. That was a nice thing, in my opinion.
Note: The eucalyptus oil really gets quite a warming, tingly feeling going...even though it is last on the ingredient list, and therefore what there is least of. So, if you have sensitive skin, this mask may be too much for you. It never burned or anything, but it did feel pretty warm on me, and it may be to "zingy" for those with sensitive skin.

When my 10 minutes was up, I splashed with warm water, rubbing the mask in circular motions in order to gently exfoliate, per the directions. Then I rinsed well.
My skin felt very clean, invigorated, and yes, it even seemed to be a touch brighter...so, yep, I got myself a GLOW!
I do recommend this product for all of you who want high quality, all natural ingredients in your facial treatments. I really like it and look forward to using it weekly.

Disclosure: I received the product complimentary for review purposes, but my honest opinion is, as always, my own and represents my true feelings.
