Dreaded Sunspots! A $125 Japanese Serum to Fix Them?

A little over 3 weeks ago, I received a brand new
(so new that it's just now available in the US)
product that originated in Japan. It's supposed to diminish the appearance of spots and also help brighten the appearance of skin.
I got it free from Influenster for testing/review purposes.
This EQUITANCE Brightening Serum & Spot Corrector retails for $125 HERE.

I do have quite a few very stubborn sunspots that just don't want to go away, no matter how many different products I've used (hydroquinone, etc.)...and despite my religious use of sunscreen on my face daily (thank you Paula's Choice for giving me a GREAT sunscreen that doesn't break me out OR sting my eyes).
Anyway, I'd been testing the product for 3 weeks and 2 days as of this video:
Have you had success with any particular product that's supposed to diminish the appearance of sunspots? Do share, please!
Disclosure: I received this product for testing/review purposes. I received no other compensation. My opinion is, as always, my own.
