Wondering where I've been? And what about that makeup giveaway I've mentioned a few times?
Well, life threw me a curve ball a couple of weeks ago. I'll save you all the gory details and just tell you that I had a huge kidney stone that required not 1 but 2 surgeries and a 4 day stay in the hospital. Add an exceptionally long recovery time (nope, still not recovered fully, thank you for asking), and you've got 1 blog growing weeds quite nicely.
Well, I'm here again and I'm gonna get the place cleaned up and back in business. Quick.
As a matter of fact, I'm giving away a fantastic makeover set to one lucky winner to get thinks going.
What's in it?
Glad you asked.
A little over $90 worth of fab goodies!
Sephora Instant Depuffing Roll-On Gel (for eyes)
$15 (can buy HERE)
Love the way this stuff feels as I roll it on my tired puffy eyes in the a.m. It won't do a thing for dark circles as far as I can tell, and the depuffing is minimal, but it helps some & is very moisturizing. I like it. I think you will too.
Ole Henriksen "3 Little Wonders Mini" (skin care kit)
Approximately $25 value (can buy full size HERE)
I was introduced to Ole H. a while back when I received a small bottle of the truth serum collagen booster in one of my beauty subscription boxes. It smells like oranges. It is a potent vitamin C complex which is supposed to help brighten, smooth and help with the appearance of aging over time. I liked it enough to buy it again, plus some for you! This kit also comes with the invigorating night gel (the package claims ~ a powerful night gel that helps vanish the appearance of fine lines, pigmentation and breakouts with AHA). Haven't used it, so I don't know. The final item in this little kit is the sheer transformation creme (package claims ~ luxurious perfecting creme repairs skin with vitamin C complex, licorice root and pea extract). Again, haven't tried this one yet, but I have high hopes for both of these. We shall see!
Bath & Body Works Cranberry Pear Bellini Mini Candle
$3.50 (can buy HERE)
This just smells great to me. Fresh, light, and just a little hint of champagne.
The brand is Slatkin & Co., which B&BW sells. Label says it burns for approximately 10-15 hours.
Makeover Essentials Personalized Custom Compact (makeup kit)
$32.99 (can buy HERE)
Created by the makeup artist who worked her magic on the stars of "Sex in the City", this unique compact has some fab qualities.First, it has removable/exchangable little compartments so that you can change each little makeup square out with other colors/formulas. Also, each square has a little clear cover so that you won't get eye shadow in your gloss, etc.(that's really annoying in those multi-kits, now isn't it?!). It comes with several small brushes (these are cheap, but at least you get something, right?). And the coolest part, the middle compact comes completely out to go into your purse! How awesome is that?!? You could switch out the little squares so that your travel section has whatever colors/formulas you want to have ready to go. Oh, and there's a mirror, just for good measure.
Stila Lip Glaze
A full size is .8 oz, $22 (can buy HERE), so this is worth approx $13.75
This is Stila's beautiful neutral shade, Kitten. (.5 fl.oz.) It has some serious sparkle/shimmer, but it's in a lovely soft color. Has Stila's quality brush tip and click-to-use function. Sure to be a favorite.
Now, you can start 2013 with less puffy eyes, better skin, fresh, beautiful makeup, and a great smelling candle to lift your mood. How's that?!
